Team Recognitions!

Lately, I have had the opportunity to see Christine in action. I have been doing presentations in the community and needing food prepared or to use the kitchen. Most recently, I hosted a paint night here in our community, this was my first event since covid so I wanted it be extra special. I reviewed the menu ideas with Christine and she made some great suggestions. I had thought of dessert at the last moment and said I was fine with cookies. On the day of the event Christine showed up with a platter of miniature pastries, and said I couldn’t let you serve cookies. I think she purchased them on her own. She set up the buffet perfectly paying attention to every detail including making a sangria served in a punch bowl so guest could get the fruit. Every time they make shrimp Mozambique, she makes sure to bring me a little bowl, knowing its my favorite. One day I went into the kitchen and saw her making this amazing vegetable lasagna from scratch. I didn’t know she did that and now I use it in my networking pitches. She always goes above and beyond to make sure you are eating just what you like! this goes for residents, and staff. these little extras make this community feel like home!

She is our newest hire, goes above and beyond her duties. Will always pick up extra shifts if we’re short. A model employee, wish we had 10 more like her.

We were walking by the ladies room off of the lobby. Sharon noticed a resident struggling with the heavy door and her walker. She simply stopped, held the door for her until she got through safely. Simple kindness….just what the world needs more of and we have plenty of here at Prosper of Fall River!

Marcia stepped up to cover Activities and make sure “Sing-A-Long” would still take place in our courtyard, because she knew how much our residents enjoyed it. She, along with her coworkers, also ensured that our residents were provided with cold water and ice cream sandwiches so that summer heat was more tolerable while they enjoyed one of their favorite Activities. The end result was great attendance and our residents having fun!

On Friday August 6 I had a family emergency and was unable to come in. That day, we had music in the court yard scheduled which is one of our residents favorite activities- Kayla ended up putting on the show for the residents. The next day I had gotten a bunch of positive feedback of the event by our residents which made me so happy! Although Kayla isn’t a part of our activities department, she still ran the activity and made our residents whole entire day. Thank you so much Kayla for bringing some added sunshine to a day that was almost a disaster! We appreciate you 🙏
