Team Recognitions!

When a resident needed a new walker but it was going to take a few days for him to receive one, Shakira walked around the whole facility before taking her break to look for a replacement. The resident was so happy to still be able to ambulate around the facility without the risk of falling. She always expresses concern and is dedicated when it comes to the residents.

Phil has been graciously filling in for us here at Monastery while we transition to a new Maintenance Director and not only myself but my other teammates and residents are without a doubt Extremely grateful that he’s done so without hesitation! He has such a big heart and has won over some very difficult residents by just taking care of a few small things for them. I personally have learned a lot from him and have been very happy to work with him to get things done. He has truly gone above and beyond to help us here at Monastery and we are eternally grateful!

Phil has been driving to Monastery Heights. He truly cares about his position and the training he is offering the new facilities person at that site. Phil is a man of kindness and quality. He does this willingly and with a sense of pride in the Prosper facilities and a matchless caring for the residents and their quality of life. His dedication is matchless in both facilities. But remember he is ours!

Her tenaciousness working with a long time resident on a quality of life improvement has resulted in this person’s life being calmer and healthier than it has been in years! Wendy gives her all. She is smart, kind and patient, just didn’t give up on this situation. Our residents are in such good hands!

Marsha observed a new resident in my office who speaks no English and I had no interpreter that she could see, there was one on the phone. She took the initiative to get a staff member to translate for the resident and this writer. Which was much appreciated. Initiative makes a TEAM that works together!

Chris was walking by my office. She noticed a stressfull telephone situation unfolding with a resident and an agency. Offered to get me a cup of tea! What a kind gesture and needed! Quality and kindness! That’s Chris!
