A note from the President

Prosper Life Care was formed to have a lasting impact on all people in assisted living and memory care, including the staff. The Prosper core values are simple and we apply them to everything we do within our communities. We make life fun, we make the community a home, and we deliver purpose to everyone. Finding purpose in everything we do is the key to a happy and meaningful life. What better purpose then to care for our aged adults. That is why we are constantly striving to find efficiencies and leverage technology to reduce administrative tasks and so that our staff can spend more time with the residents. We truly care about everyone on our team and search for people to join us that have the same enthusiasm and compassion for the people we serve.

Our philosophy is simple…if we take care of you, then you will take care of the residents.

This past weekend, there was multiple staffing challenges, and Margarita Quinones came in to MorningStar ensuring that every resident received excellent care regardless of the hurdles that came her way! Margarita always has the resident’s best interest in mind, and she always provides amazing care.

Shakira comes into work everyday with a smile on her face, she conducts every task asked of her, she completes her documentation everyday, and she always informs the nurses of ANY concern or issue that arises! We are lucky to have her!

Core Values Demonstrated: Fun, Home

Rose has such a heart of gold! She’s so respectful to our residents, she always makes sure that their apartments and common areas are spotless and well kept. She also makes living and working at Prosper extra special. Just a couple of weeks ago she was dancing in front of the window with one of our shy residents who loves music and dancing. She also helps encourage our newer residents to go to our activities. I’ll never forget the day when I was 9 months pregnant during a Mother’s Day brunch activity that we had, she helped me serve our residents coffee and munchkins and helped me clean up. Even though I could handle it on my own, she still took it upon herself to take a couple of minutes out of her busy day to help. That truly showed me what type of person she really is.

Core Values Demonstrated: Home

Brianna is great with all the residents. As waitstaff, she goes above and beyond her job responsibilities. I witnessed her taking time out of her duties to walk with a resident outside on this very hot and humid day to make sure she was going to sit in the shade. She also gave her water before she went out and told her to stay hydrated. She then went to check on her a little while later and made sure she came inside in a timely manner so the resident wouldn’t overheat. She gave her more water as the resident came inside. Brianna really goes the extra mile to make sure the residents are okay.
